I received my training at Garrett College finishing in December of 1999 and I regularly continue to further my education.  I worked out of a private office in Davis, WV for twelve years.  I went back to school to work on a nursing degree.  While going to school I continued to do massage at home or doing in home visits and I gained experience working in the spa at Rocky Gap for a short time.  The traveling to and from Cumberland for school and work left me exhausted and missing family.  I started working at a long-term facility and soon discovered with the change to night shift, 12-14 hour shifts I was  struggling to balance my home, family and work life and felt my passion for massage and the calm, relaxed atmosphere working one on one with clients offered was disappearing.  That was something that had to change so I opened a massage therapy office at McHenry, MD with wonderful views of Deep Creek Lake and the mountains.  I am a single mom and somewhat of an artist and I love exploring new mediums. I have two amazing boys that are the light of my life, Dalton 29 and Shawn 16.  We have a fun-loving pit bull Buddy, an Red Healer/Shepard mix Olive, Miss Daisy is our ferret and last our cat Willow they have dominated all of our hearts!
