Michael Parente, a seasoned wellness expert, began providing massage in his early teens, He completed his formal Licensed Massage Therapist training at the Cortiva Institute - and Pre/Post Operation Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Certification from the MLD Institute International. Michael thrives on learning new techniques to help his clients - he has traveled the world experiencing and studying a myriad of practices and techniques. He has created his own style, built upon centuries of practices, from Galen to modern day. He specializes in various holistic therapeutic massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, trigger-point, sports, range of motion, reflexology, palliative care, and lymphatic drainage, among others. His tailored treatments prioritize the unique needs of his clients, fostering overall well-being and stress relief. Michael's empathetic nature and focus on both physical and emotional health make him a trusted partner in wellness. He has been influenced by Eastern philosophy and creates a relaxing, healing environment, offering sessions that include breathwork, sound bath, guided meditation and aromatherapy, that rejuvenate the mind, body, and spirit beyond mere physical relief. Outside of work, Michael is enrolled in the 200hr Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher Training Program, studies daily, and participates in continuous reflexology training. He enjoys music, the beach, his Siberian Husky, travel, transcendental meditation, writing, and stand-up comedy. These interests inject creativity and joy into his practice.
