Massage is a wonderful tool to help with recovery and healing. I welcome anyone suffering from stress, injury, or chronic pain to visit my practice. I focus on research-supported techniques. Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent over a decade as a scientist in molecular biology laboratories. My background has been a great help in keeping up with the latest studies in therapeutic massage. From my experience in medical environments, I learned the value of massage as a complement to conventional medicine. Check out my articles at https://respitemassagebhm.wordpress.com/ if you’re interested in learning more about the science behind massage and how it affects our health. Since 2019, I’ve lived in Birmingham with my husband and two dogs. We love traveling across the country to run, and I’ve completed half marathons in Florida, Nevada, West Virginia, Alabama, Maine, Texas, Michigan, and Georgia with the hope to race in every state. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and needlepoint–although not at the same time.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
