"Graceful Mountain" describes the balance that I strive to attain in my life. I believe that strength and grace are the epitome of health, in all arenas: physical, mental, spiritual, and communal. As a massage therapist and Yogi these elements are reflected in my practice and what I aim to help my clients find. I have been practicing massage since 2005, beginning in Flagstaff, AZ, then spending 8 years in Salt Lake City, UT, and have been here in western Washington since 2013. The majority of my career has been focused on deep tissue and injury recovery. Being a skier and avid outdoors woman led me to a degree in sports science and physiology from the University of Utah, and through a yoga teacher training, all of which have deepened my knowledge of how the human body functions and recovers. An eternal student I have studied a plethora of massage modalities ranging from Thai massage to craniosacral therapy, and incorporate many of them into my massage sessions to best fit my clients' needs. I've spent several years working in high end spas and have a great respect for the 'whole experience', and love to add in essential oils, hot stones and any other elements that will help the whole self to let go. I believe that bodywork and Yoga are some of the best ways to learn from our bodies, allow our minds to be quiet and to find some peace in our chaotic lives. Trust is the most important aspect in my relationship with clients and I would love the opportunity to work with you.
