Hello! I am a native Washingtonian that relocated to Spokane during the pandemic and I'm so excited to finally be opening up bodywork services to the people of the inland northwest. A bit about me - I graduated from Texas Healing Arts Institute in Austin, TX in 2012. I started my own massage studio shortly after graduation and after years of running a successful practice full of beloved clients I decided to close the doors and head back home to Washington. In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, I am also a Certified Cupping Therapist and a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner. I work with many different types of clients including athletes such as cyclists, runners, crossfitters as well as people with chronic pain and specific injuries, especially shoulder issues (injuries and post-operative). Although my passion is getting to the root of soft tissue problems, I am skilled at Swedish massage and recognize the benefits of the relaxing and circulatory strokes this modality provides. I strongly believe in integrative massage techniques and use a variety of methods and tools such as cupping, orthopedic massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, sports taping, and touch with intent, to obtain optimum therapeutic results. I carefully tailor each client's treatment plan to work with their specific needs. Our initial session will include a thorough evaluation including a postural assessment (unless the session is for relaxation) as well as reviewing medical information of current and past injuries and treatments, reoccurring issues, concerns and future goals. Please let me know in advance if you have any specific allergies to seeds, nuts, essential oils, etc. so I can accommodate as best as possible. A little more about me: I have a BS in Environmental Science and a deep-rooted love for all things outdoors (ask me about my years playing with the bugs!). I spend my spare time in the mountains rock climbing/hiking/camping with friends and family, in my garden getting my hands dirty, going antiquing in search of vintage gems, and running after my giggly little rock-collecting-water-loving-blueberry-eating daughter.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
