Bhrigha believes in a totally wholistic approach to health and wellness, for humans and animals. It is difficult to successfully treat just one part, because they are all interconnected. Everyone’s body is different and it is up to each person to find what works best for him/herself. However, taking care of yourself is not a luxury; it is a necessity for a healthy & happy life. With over 20 years experience & continuous study, Bhrigha’s approach to bodywork is eclectic, incorporating several styles: Craniosacral work, Myofascial Release, Medical Massage, Yoga, Shiatsu/Acupressure, Thaisu© Yoga Massage, Thai Herbal Ball Therapy, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and energy work, such as Reiki, Pranic Healing, and chakra balancing. In January 2019, she completed her 200 Hours of Teacher Training in Yoga & is also now a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. She was a faculty instructor at Everest College, Vancouver campus from April 2014-July 2016, teaching all subjects in Anatomy/Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and all massage techniques. She has maintained a massage therapy license in the state of Florida since 1995 (FL MA#20757), in WA since 2007 when she moved here (WA MA25141), and completed the Experiential Course (approximately 136 hours) in Visionary Craniosacral Work with The Milne Institute, Inc., a form of Craniosacral work developed by Hugh Milne, D.O., with whom she studied directly for half of those hours. Craniosacral with MFR is her main focus, she has studied it for over 20 years & she is also Intraoral Certified in the state of WA, using her varied approach to help clients suffering from TMJ syndrome, migraines, postural imbalances, thoracic outlet syndrome, Motor Vehicle Accidents, spinal deviations, scoliosis, depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. She has experience working with veterans, and grew up in the USMC, so she has a special place in her heart for those who served. Bhrigha is also an Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and offers Reiki sessions to clients & attunements/initiations, in addition to several other Continuing Education Classes for LMTs/LMPs. Bhrigha was also certified through the Intermediate level in Classical Pilates Mat & Apparatus (Reformer, Tower, Cadillac, High Chair, etc.) through NYC-based Power Pilates starting in 2004.
