I am a birth doula and licensed massage therapist based in Bellingham, Washington. My massages focus on   relaxation and treatment , helping your body   release  tension and trigger points, and   restore  a healthy energetic flow. I  believe a gentler touch is often sufficient to remind your body how to relax and reconnect, but I will also find the areas that need deeper work and dig in! My doula support is client centered, client driven. Meaning  your goals are my goals , and I will adapt to whatever situation arises to meet you where you are. My training is through DONA International. Please see FAQ or send me a message with any questions!  I became interested in healing and massage therapy while working at wellness centers around the world (Breitenbush in Detroit, OR, Esalen in Big Sur, CA, and Aro Ha in New Zealand). I graduated a massage program in Durango, Colorado in 2015, and have licenses in Idaho and Washington.  My passion for birth work began many years ago; I was a member of the birth club in my college and attended midwifery conferences, and have been an infant nanny for many years.  I am also a student and practitioner of yoga and meditation, which influence my massage and doula styles.
