Sarah discovered a natural ability for massage as a professional high school athlete helping herself and her teammates recover from sports injuries. This piqued a passion for working with others towards healing and for studying the human body. Sarah majored in Athletic Training at Merrimack college in Andover, MA where she studied sports medicine, anatomy & physiology, chemistry and biology. She then moved on to dive deeper into her love of science at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA where she majored in Biology and studied chemistry, genetics, biology and philosophy. Sarah was then forced to leave university due to an autoimmune disorder that was incapacitating her with chronic pain. Back in her home state of VT she began to regain health and decided to reach out for apprenticeships in the state of VT. She apprenticed in Deep Relaxation Massage , Acupuncture and Neurofeedback . Sarah then went on to study several areas of health and wellness including two forms of integrative somatic therapy; SHEN Physio-Emotional Therapy and Rubenfeld Synergy that both added irreplaceable depth to her perspective on bodywork and holding space for a therapeutic session. She obtained a certification in Rubenfeld Synergy. Sarah obtained her certification in Massage Therapy through BodySoul Massage & Bodywork School in St. Albans, VT. Sarah is also a Certified Health Coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition's on-line program AND a certified Yoga Instructor through Evolution PT, Yoga & Massage in Burlington, VT . *Sarah is not currently accepting Health Coaching, Yoga or Rubenfeld Synergy clients.
