I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2017.  My practice is therapeutic and is rooted in kinesiology and anatomy.  I offer relaxation or Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue, myofasical release, trigger point therapy, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, and other techniques appropriate to your needs.  I am happy and honored to work with all ages, genders, races, and orientations.  I provide prenatal and postnatal massage to those clients whose doctors or midwives are comfortable with massage. You deserve comfort, health, and the full and free use of your body.  You deserve to be listened to.  My personal philosophy about bodywork is that there is no relationship between pain and gain.  Some massage techniques can be intense, but anything that produces distress or fear is counterproductive.  If you come to me for bodywork we will work together to find techniques that are most effective for you.  You will leave with new ideas and possibilities for health and comfort.  Previous to my massage career I was an experiential educator, working for organizations such as the Appalachian Mountain Club, the Boy Scouts, Outward Bound USA, and most recently the Dartmouth Outing Club.  I enjoy hiking, running, paddling, knitting, gardening, and eating.
