Celeste Cyr's path to becoming a wellness professional has been informed by a plethora of massage, fitness, and wellness disciplines and practices over the last 17 years. She became a licensed as a massage therapist in 2000 and was fortunate to be mentored extensively by a talented Physical Therapist specializing in Myofascial Release. During those years, she also managed a holistic and locally owned fitness and wellness center in Austin, Texas named Castle Hill Integrative Fitness. It was there that she led and served her community and intensively practiced and studied massage, yoga, Pilates, Strength training, and all things nutrition and food for healing. In addition, she had arthroscopic hip surgery in 2010 to repair a torn labrum and learned a lot about patience, the wisdom of the body, and bouncing back. All of these experiences have fueled her enduring passion for a compassionate, functional, balanced approach to health and wellness, with an emphasis on injury prevention, care, and recovery. Celeste's massage modalities include myofascial release, relaxation, deep tissue, cupping, and dermoneuro modulation, a gentle treatment of pain to reset the nervous system. In addition, she recently added ashiatsu (barefoot massage) to her skill set. Celeste considers it a privilege to be a supportive, encouraging force in her clients’ journey to a higher quality of health and life. During her off time, Celeste loves to cook and eat, hike, read, spend time with family, and explore new places with her husband Shannon, mainly by mountain or road bike.
