Greetings! My name is Mariel and I want to be part of your healing journey. I love to blend massage modalities making your experience as unique as you are. In my practice, I offer reiki, swedish, deep tissue, stretching, range of motion, reflexology and acupressure.  Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I was graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a double bachelor's degree in Biological Anthropology and Anatomy, and Religious Studies. I have worked as a neuroscience research technician, archaeologist and garden designer, and also became certified as a Master Gardener at Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh, PA.  After meeting my future husband at a music festival in Canada, I moved to be with him to his hometown Chattanooga, Tennessee. Here in Chattanooga I discovered my true purpose and passion,  being a massage therapist and energy healer. I graduated massage school from Miller-Motte Technical College in Chattanooga. I have studied reiki under a few teachers, including the Reiki Center in Asheville, NC, and from private teachers here in Chattanooga. I am currently apprenticing with a local teacher to be able to pass on the reiki attunements and wisdom to future students.  In my free time, I explore the gorgeous nature around our city, through the forests and rivers and creeks. I also love to support our incredible local music and art scene. I enjoy cooking, hiking, gardening, yoga, fishing, drawing, spending time with my five cats, and hanging out with my husband and friends.
