I’ve been a massage therapist since 2005, after my dad (who was a roofer) fell from a roof and suffered a catastrophic arm injury. As part of his very long road to recovery and rehabilitation, his care team taught us how to change his dressings and massage him to accelerate his healing, promote faster recovery, and avoid complications due to bedrest. I have been passionate about massage and its healing abilities ever since. It was also a great career to travel and support my husband's military career. I’m a Massage Instructor at Spartanburg Community College, a nationally board certified massage therapist and bodyworker, a certified medical massage therapist, certified ACE massage cupping therapy, certified holistic health coach, and am currently training to become a classical homeopath. I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration & Management. We have recently settled into Gaffney after my husband retired from his 20-year Submarine Naval career in 2021. We are a homeschooling family to 4 of our 6 kids (I’ve already graduated 2). We have many pets, including an Australian Shepherd, 2 kittens, a bunny, and a bearded dragon.
