Owner and founder, Amie, has always been fascinated by the complexities of the human body, A student athlete and graduate of Shippensburg University with a B.S. in biology and medical technology, her interest in anatomy grew after experiencing a season-ending injury and undergoing reconstructive knee surgery. This sparked her passion for recovery and rehabilitation. In 1997, Amie left her position as a pharmaceutical research scientist to pursue a career in massage therapy. After completing a 504-hour training program and passing the national certification exam, she accepted a position with Mercury, a professional cycling team. For four years, she travelled nationally and internationally providing massage therapy to a team of 12 riders. Upon returning to the area, Amie worked at a local chiropractic office, where she gained invaluable experience in treating chronic pain and injuries. In 2002, Amie had the exciting opportunity to work with players from the Philadelphia Eagles, eventually being hired on as an independent contractor. She left the team in 2008 to focus on family and building her own practice but was brought back in 2012 to once again be part of the team. Amie was also fortunate to accompany the Eagles to both Super Bowls-each an unforgettable experience. In 2005, Amie launched Kraft Massage & Bodywork where she continues her mission to help clients heal, recover, and live pain-free lives.
