Meet our owner, Dana, a native Philadelphian dedicated to uplifting the lives of women through intentional wellness experiences. Dana is a graduate of Episcopal School of Nursing, Temple University College of Health Professions, Jean Madeline Aveda Institute, Philadelphia School of Massage and Bodywork and Learn Reiki Philadelphia. She is also an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Prior to fulfilling the roles of Licensed Esthetician, Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner, she worked as a long-term care nurse and spent a decade managing people and clinical research projects in academic institutions and the pharmaceutical industry. While Dana never intended to enter into the spa industry, she’d always remained open to any career that would allow her to start her own business, and because of that, the spa industry found her. Her business, Divine Refinery, is an extension of her experience serving others. While some of her credentials may appear unrelated to energy and bodywork, each of her previous experiences truly influences how she shows up for her clients. For Dana, the best part of being a massage therapist is that she is able to care for others more holistically than she could in her nursing and clinical research roles, offering nearly instant relief without torturing them in the process. Her clients praise her for her confident touch and grounded presence in massage sessions as well as for her open mind during Reiki sessions. Dana’s calm demeanor allows her to really listen to the concerns of clients and address each with authenticity and care. Dana and the entire Divine Refinery team look forward to joining you on your self-care journey!
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
