Josie Myres has been a licensed massage therapist for 6 years. She grew up in Toledo, Oregon and moved to Eugene where she went to Lane Community College for the 2-year massage therapy program graduating and licensed in 2018. After 12 years of living in the Willamette Valley, she is now back on the coast and excited to provide for her community.   As a child, Josie had developed severe anxiety that was very difficult to deal with on a daily basis. She was introduced to massage therapy at a young age and fell in love with how bodywork helped her restlessness. For the first time she felt her mind slip into a safe space. Human connection bodywork created a more intuitive relationship to what her body needed, giving her the tools to help manage the anxiety and stress which caused trauma/tension being held in the body.  Building trust with a client is very important to her, as trust brings a space of comfortability for others to express themselves, grow and move forward with routine self-care. Whether you’d like to bliss out in silence or chit chat about life, she will make sure your experience is exactly how you want it. On her free time, Josie enjoys reading books, camping, gardening, water recreations and spending time with friends and family.
