Josie Myres has been a licensed massage therapist for almost 6 years in Eugene, Oregon. She went to Lane Community College for the 2-year massage therapy program graduating and licensed in 2018. As a child, Josie had developed severe anxiety that was very difficult to deal with on a daily basis. She was introduced to massage therapy and for the first time she felt her mind slip into a safe space. Human connection bodywork created a more intuitive relationship to what her body needed, giving her the tools to help manage the anxiety and stress which caused trauma/tension being held in the body. Building trust with a client is very important to her, as trust brings a space of comfortability for others to express themselves, grow and move forward with routine self-care. On her free time, Josie enjoys reading books, photography, camping, gardening and spending time with friends and family.
