An avid outdoorsman and passionate athlete, Brighton was raised into an active lifestyle from a young age in the beautiful Mount Shasta, CA. From playing ball sports like soccer and basketball to extreme outdoor sports like backcountry skiing, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, and climbing, Brighton found himself through movement and flow. As he grew up, he discovered strength training for performance, resilience, and well-being to be the perfect compliment to an outdoor lifestyle. Training developed his understanding of the mind-body connection and uncovered a scientific curiosity about the human body. Brighton's deep connection to nature and the body paved the way for his discovery of the healing arts. Through his own experience of multiple sports-related injuries as well as a natural attunement to the human body, he found bodywork to provide the perfect intentional space for restoration, recovery, preventative care, personal growth, and ultimately healing. Brighton believes that waking up an awareness within the body has a profound impact on other aspects of life. Moreover, he views the mind-body connection as the foundation for living a healthful, empowered, balanced, and authentic life. These discoveries inspired Brighton to attend COCC's LMT Program and eventually become a licensed massage therapist in 2019. He specializes in the therapeutic modalities of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and aromatherapy, while utilizing Shiatsu and Swedish relaxation to augment his practice. Whether he is aiding in the recovery process, assisting with pain management, rebalancing tissue structures, promoting deep relaxation, or showing up for whatever healing space is needed, Brighton has a passion for serving his community. From his knowledge of the body to his empathic intuition, Brighton's goal is to be on your team helping align your body with the life you want.
