"Shannon was AWESOME and aided in me healing a lot faster than
anticipated. With a lot of confusion surrounding lymphatic massages out
there and what was right for me, Shannon was very knowledgeable,
informative and made me feel confident in choosing her for my
post-surgical massages. I’d recommend her 1000 times over!" -Meriah H.

Your Session is About You
Your improved well-being is the most important aspect of your session, so please ask any questions that come up or speak up if you don’t feel that you are getting what you signed up for. It is no problem to modify your session to ensure that it is to your liking.
Shannon is trained in a number of different modalities, and you pay one flat fee for her time rather than for the type of service provided. So, ask for what you feel is just right for you and make the session your own.
FAQ:
Do you take insurance for lymphedema therapy?
No, I don't take insurance. While I am a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, my licensure is massage therapy, and that is not accepted by insurance companies. Despite sitting side-by-side in class with Occupational and Physical Therapists and achieving the optional LANA Certified Lymphedema Therapist designation (the highest level of lymphatic credential available), insurance companies do not consider me to be "worthy" of paying.
Because of this, I am private pay only. Insurance generally will not reimburse you for sessions with me. I usually see people when they are newly diagnosed prior to going to a clinic where insurance is taken (for about the 6 weeks of benefits that are available), or after that 6 week period has elapsed.
