I view massage as a holistic practice integrating the entire body, mind, and spirit. By working slowly and with intention, bodywork can soothe an overstimulated nervous system providing grounding, meditative, and profound effects.
While backpacking in Thailand, I received my first Thai massage and fell in love. I've always been drawn to the power of touch, massaging my family since I was a child, and I knew I wanted to learn more about the profession. Hands-on assists in my yoga teacher training added to the vocabulary of therapeutic touch I gained from massage school, and my ongoing continuing education.
Over the past decade, I’ve explored ways to come back home to my mind and body. Some of my favorite practices include yoga and intentional movement, Yoga Nidra, breathwork, meditation, nature, sound healing, and bodywork. I incorporate these grounding practices into sessions along with spa comforts like weighted blankets, eye masks, heat packs, and pillows.
Whether we work together on the massage table or the Thai mat, each session is approached with empathy and personalized care. Massage has supported me during tough periods of my life. I hope you leave our sessions feeling more connected to yourself, supported, able to breathe deep, and with greater ease.
