Although my profession has been in Sales for the past two decades my passion has always been health and fitness. Working out is an important part of my life- it’s part of my lifestyle. My view on fitness is that going to the gym is not something that I have to do but rather an activity that I enjoy – it makes my day better! Whether it's in the gym or an outdoor activity, I find being active is great for my spirit and emotional well-being. Being active has been a stress release and a great way to meet like-minded friends. Being that I enjoyed being at the gym and taking classes, I became a fitness instructor in 2008 and have been lucky enough to teach at all of The Workout Club locations. Like many people affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic, my industry shut down and I found myself looking for a plan B. Given my lifestyle, Massage Therapy seemed like a natural progression, and I pivoted into taking steps to become certified and licensed. On a weekly basis, I challenge class participants to go outside of their comfort zone. That type of work requires repair for the mind and body. I’m now able to offer gym members muscle and joint work to balance the hard work they do.
