I have been a massage and bodywork therapist for over two decades now.  I first attended school at the Advanced Fuller School of Massage in Virginia Beach, VA.  I worked at my school as a student therapist giving me the opportunity to work on hundreds of bodies before I was officially licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina in 2003. This working time at my school gave me the chance to work on several different and very experienced therapists and teachers.  They were able to give me much needed feedback on my technique, allowing me to learn and refine my own work.   After I was licensed in North Carolina I opened my own practice on the Outerbanks of North Carolina where I have found both my purpose and my peace.  I was never interested in working at a spa. Bodywork therapy has become a way of life for me .. a calling if you will and a spa never felt like the right place for me.  I soon gave birth too and raised my two beautiful children leading me to take my business onsite through those years (less overhead cost).  I traveled to vacationer homes, setting up my traveling sanctuary somewhere in their big house and working on people throughout the day while they come in and out from the beach and pool. Groups of 4 to 15 or more people!  A beautiful new house and view to enjoy everyday! it was a truly fantastic way to spend my days for many years!  But alas my children have grown and the time has come to bring my attention back in to my own community again. I will still travel to (the four wheel drive area) Carova Beach for a full day of massage!  My focus however will be here. I have opened an office in Nagshead and that is where you will find me now. I have found the perfect place to build  a sanctuary permanently! I have top of the line  Comfort Craft massage tables which take stretching to the next level!
