Danielle has been interested in the field of healing for several years. At the age of 25, she started her own non-profit agency where she brought together the healing powers of the arts to people with developmental, physical and emotional challenges. After seeing the benefits of teaching yoga/meditation and relaxation to this population, she became certified as a yoga teacher in 2004 receiving her 200-hour training and has been teaching ever since. She completed her 500-hr yoga training at The Asheville Yoga Center in 2018. Graduating from the California College of Ayurveda in 2008, she received her certification as an Ayurvedic Health Educator where she is able to educate the community about the principles of Ayurveda and how to incorporate that into your everyday lifestyle. She has studied with Dr. Halpern, an internationally known Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Founder of California College of Ayurveda, receiving a certificate as an Ayurvedic Yoga Therapist. Danielle works one on one to incorporate the Ayurvedic principles with yoga asanas, pranayama, and relaxation techniques. She also studied with Dr. Light Miller and Dr. Paul Dugliss to further her studies in Ayurveda. She has completed her second level of Ayurvedic Training as an Ayurvedic Practitioner with Dr. Paul Dugliss in May 2016. She will have over 1,800 hours of ayurvedic experience and knowledge at that time. Danielle graduated from the Asheville School of Massage and Therapy in 2010. As a massage therapist, she integrates myofascial, cupping, Swedish, deep tissues and trigger point therapy. She enjoys individualizing the massage style with that of the clients' needs. She has found massage therapy to be an integral part of healing and well being. In 2013, she received level 1 training Cranio-Sacral at the Upledger Institute. She has studied with David Crow, internationally known master herbalist, aromatherapist and Ayurvedic Scholar to delve deeper into aromatherapy and using essential to help bring mind, body and spirit in unison. This has become an integral part of her practice and sees the benefits aromatherapy has for the mind, body, and spirit. She enjoys making her own blends and has a line of beautiful products under the name of Sangita Ayurvedics. Danielle continues to advance her knowledge in her bodywork and has been studying Reiki since 2018 and is a Reiki Practitioner. She has also written in 2 Amazon bestseller books called Activate Your Life and articles in Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine.
