I graduated at the top of my class from Miller-Motte College located in Cary, North Carolina in 2014. I started right away at Massage Envy in Brier Creek, Raleigh, NC. I learned so many more techniques to help my clients relax, recover from injuries and ease their muscle pain. I continue to take continuing education to learn more ways to help my clients. I've taken Reiki Integrative Foot Reflexology Hot Stone Massage Myofascial Release Vacuum Therapy also known as "cupping" Lymphatic Drainage Trigger Point Therapy The number one way I learn to help my clients? Performing massage therapy! Yeah. When I was taking calculus, my professor said "Do 1,000 problems, then you'll know". The same is true with massage - "Touch 1,000 bodies and get better at helping people with each client." I grew up in Denver, Colorado, moved to New Jersey where I met my husband and have lived in North Carolina for 20 years- we were on our way down to North Carolina when Princess Diana died. I worked as a computer programmer for the first 30 years of my working life. I wanted to "retire" and pursue a profession where I could help people and find more joy in my life. I am a problem solver by nature. I approach the world with a curious, analytical, open, and sincere mind - with a sunny disposition. I love learning. I believe there is never enough to learn. Some of my favorite things (other than massage) include - laughing, my family, my dogs, camping (no tent camping for me), bicycling, playing guitar (mostly with my teacher), creating jewelry and enjoying nature.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
