Sendatu Bodywork is owned and operated by NC licensed massage and bodywork therapist, Heather Cash. After attending massage school in New Hampshire beginning in 2014, she first interned with Dartmouth College as a therapist in the athletics program using massage on the athletes. After finishing school, she returned to the Burke / Catawba area where she began her practice working as a massage therapist in several venues. She is trained in traditional Swedish massage, deep tissue, myofascial, sports massage, active engagement techniques, hot stone massage, trigger point therapy, Gua Sha (scraping), cupping, orthopedic, prenatal massage, mobility work and assisted stretching and lymphatic drainage. Having been a personal trainer since 1997 as well as a competitive bodybuilder since 1999, Heather's passion involves sports therapy and working with elite athletes in competition preparation processes. Her goal is to help each client to increase mobility, flexibility and soft tissue recovery with each session.
