My name is Shaquan Mitchell but most people know me by the name, Quan! I'm a God driving familiy man always looking to better myself and enhance my skills and techniques.  I have been a licensed massage therapist in the state of North Carolina since 2013.  I first became interested in the field of massage therapy when I had an injury to my achilles tendon in 2006. During the rehab process, i encountered some natural forms of healing techniques while i was going through physical therapy. Scraping and muscle kneading to help break up the scar tissue and help re-align the muscle fibers would help aid me in not having a limp in my step for the rest of my life. It took a full year to recover from the surgery and shortly after PT, i was able to walk again on my own and not depend on a support cane or boot. I literally had to learn how to walk again as an adult. The feeling that i had and the joy that had overcome me was so uplifting and aspiring that i knew at some point in my life i wanted to be able to reciprocate that into people that i work on. Just seven years later, the opportunity presented itself and God opened the door for me to become an LMT. I received my training through Miller-Motte in Cary, NC with a main interest in sports, deep tissue, and various medical therapeutic techniques.
