My name ie Erin Rubin,  I have been happily married to my husband Dan for over 16 years and we have 5 beautiful children and 3 grandchildren. As any family we have been through our share of ups and downs. They have all brought me such joy in my  life,  yet I felt I wasn't bringing enough joy into theirs. First, let's go back aways.  I was diagnosed with Crohns Dis-Ease when I was 13 years old through exploratory surgery and thought my world was over. I felt like I had swallowed to many emotions and childhood trauma without healing and look what it all manifested into. The Doctors told me not to have children.WHAT !! I couldn't just not be the only thing I ever wanted to be, A Mother! As life went on I noticed my children where having their own Dis-Ease of life and I wanted to give them the best care possible as natural as breath. They all watched me go in and out of the hospitals for years. It wasn't a life for any of us.  Something had to change.! Mind Body and Spirit. I enrolled at MINH, graduated in 2009,  got my license as a LMT and currently own and operate my own business!  Working  alongside many great Chiropractors, colon therapist, and other LMTs to become the Somatic Practitioner I am today.  In October of 2017 we lost our son Elijah to suicide. It rocked our world. Taking time off to heal and noticing that my family were going through Dis-Ease again. We almost lost both of our older children as well, just different circumstances. So we...I, have worked hard to maintain a certain way of living to balance myself in this ever changing world of health and hoping Im making a difference in the way my children take care of themselves in the long run. After taking time off I believe I was supposed to go back into the art of massage again. Not just for myself but for others as well.My heart had changed and I understood value in the struggle. I strive to continue my education in other modalities to broaden my mind with the possibilities of healing.
