Naomi Siegal, OTR/L, CMT earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Carleton College (1980), and certification as a Massage Therapist (CMT) in a 1200 hour course at the Boulder School of Massage Therapy (1985). She completed training in Occupational Therapy at the College of St. Catherine in 1996. After many years of focusing on Pediatric OT treatment in her clinic – Success in Motion Therapy – she has now returned to focusing on adult treatment using hands-on massage and bodywork techniques. Her toolbox includes advanced modalities such as CranioSacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage massage, Trager and Myofascial Release techniques along with the more standard massage techniques such as Swedish massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Integrative massage. While she tells clients she can work as deeply as anyone wants, she does not believe that more is always better with massage. Naomi highly values the light touch techniques as being more gentle yet more powerful in helping people to change patterns, allowing them to be more at home and comfortable in their bodies. With acceptance and openness to all body-types, shapes, and sizes, Naomi helps people fully inhabit their bodies in comfort and joy. She particularly enjoys doing detailed, non-painful work on tight necks and shoulders, helping people change chronic pain patterns such as migraines or others, and teaching people about how their sensory experience of the world can be improved through awareness and small habit changes.
