Kelly began pursuing education in health and wellness at James Madison University, earning a B.S. Physical Education/ Coaching in 1987. A lifelong study of biomechanic structure and function has resulted in the pursuit of two additional areas of expertise- becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2003, and being awarded Physical Therapist Assistant , A.A.S. in 2009. Within the past two years she has also become a Fascial Counterstrain provider.
Her passion for massage is rooted in the knowledge that when the body’s central nervous system is addressed, every aspect of cellular function is improved enabling the body to follow its natural course of healing and rejuvenation. Working effectively with a variety of clients -including athletes in training, those seeking reduction in stress, and those that experience chronic pain- her clients regularly report reduced pain and improved functional movement post treatment.
On a personal level, Kelly enjoys many hobbies and activities- most of which are related to her love of nature and being outdoors. She remains committed to continued education in all areas of wellness, and welcomes the opportunity to partner with you in reaching your best health.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
