Hello friend, thank you for paying a visit to my page! A little about me, I am a former computer engineer that left the industry back in March of 2021, and enrolled in Ivy Tech Community College to pursue my certification in Therapeutic Massage in the fall of 2021. I found my love for both anatomy and engineering were in perfect harmony with Massage Therapy; the synergy between them convinced me this is the path I would love. I went on to graduate from Ivy Tech Summa Cum Laude earning a perfect 4.0 GPA over my 4 semesters enrolled. My love for problem solving and work that felt both meaningful and challenging had reached it's ceiling in the realm of IT, so I decided to challenge myself further and learn to solve problems within the human body as my next venture, and I am so thankful that I took that leap of faith! Solving issues within the body by means of Therapeutic massage seems to be so different from solving issues in Information Technology, right? In actuality, the process is quite similar! An issue arises within the body, you then gather all the information about the issue and what brought it to the surface as you can. The next step is structuring a plan to treat the issue(s), applying the plan of action using the correct tools, and finally by recording the data of the results afterward. Not only have I found the body far more interesting to "troubleshoot" if you will, seeing the results that bring forth both relief and gratitude from my patients is something where IT falls far short of Massage Therapy. Going home at the end of the day with the intrinsic value that comes by way of helping someone improve their quality of life is of incalculable value to me.
