With two decades of dedicated service in the US Army from 1996 to 2016, including my graduation from the US Military Academy at West Point and my command of a company comprised of infantry and tanks in Mosul, Iraq, I learned to persevere through physical and emotional challenges, often pushing beyond my limits. It was during my early years as a young private, struggling to adapt, that I discovered the therapeutic benefits of massage, and throughout my global military journey, from South Korea to Saudi Arabia, I continued to embrace regular massage as a means to maintain my physical well-being, recover from injuries, and cope with the rigors of military life. In 2020, my transition to becoming a massage therapist revealed the profound capacity of massage to help me overcome the debilitating effects of PTSD and C-PTSD in my own life. This transformation deepened my respect and understanding of massage, which now informs my practice. I am committed to being fully present with my clients, attentive to their body's cues, and utilizing a combination of deep tissue and myofascial release techniques with firm, gentle, sustained pressure to release restrictions and promote joint mobility, all while minimizing the discomfort and bruising often associated with deep tissue work. Massage has been instrumental in setting me free, and I'm thrilled to share its transformative potential with you.
