I graduated from Jefferson West High School in 1984.  I went to college at Kansas State University where I graduated with a B.S. in  Parks and Natural Resource Management.  I worked for the Federal Government for 32 years as a Park Ranger and lived in many different states.  I retired from the Great Plains Nature Center in 2021.  I decided to move back to the Meriden, KS area to be closer to my parents.  I became bored sitting at home and I had always been interested in Massage Therapy so I began searching for massage schools close to home.  I found Wellspring School of Allied Health that is located in Lawrence and began my schooling in August of 2022.  I graduated from Wellspring School of Allied Health with a 3.95 GPA on September 14, 2023.  I took the MBLEX (Massage and Bodyworks Licensing Exam) on October 5, 2023 and passed this difficult exam. I live on Lake Perry and my massage practice is currently in the basement of my home.  I have three crazy dogs that live with me.  My parents live about 7 miles away from me and we talk or see each other at least one time a day. My hobbies include reading, gardening, taking care of animals, and decorating my home for the holidays - whichever holiday is coming up.   Massage therapy has been something I have been very interested in for about 30 years.  A friend of mine and I took a local continuing education course at a local college on Reflexology and I was hooked.  I have practiced this modality off and on since then - mostly on family and friends.  This was one of the reasons I knew I needed to go into practicing Massage Therapy.  I enjoy working with people and making them feel better.
