Massage has always been an interest of mine.  Although in my day of post high school there were no schools locally that I could receive training. After decades of living "normal" American life, I decided to pursue an education in Physical Therapy on the assistant side. Although I did well in the study I didn't feel a bond to the practice.  I took a year break to pursue other goals and upon my way I stumbled onto the Massage Therapy program at Ivy Tech in Evansville.  I was elated to finally have the opportunity to follow a life long pull to help people in an alternative means of healing. I graduated from Ivy Tech in 2019 with a certification of Therapeutic Massage (Indiana State Licensed as of 2023, when the legislation went into effect). I followed my certification academics through to receive my Associates in Healthcare Specialist (with honors) in the summer of 2020 from Ivy Tech. I am continually striving to learn new ways to integrate modalities into treatment plans, in order to  accomplish or accommodate client goals. I am certified in myofascial cupping, (fall 2019, PESI Rehab) and as a S.M.R.T. (spontaneous muscle release technique) practitioner and personal fitness trainer.  My goal is to be as educated and proficient as possible to deliver the best care possible.
