We have seen the benefits of using massage, cupping, scraping, Reiki, Chakra balancing, crystal healing, and essential oils. Why Massage: Stacey was trained as an art therapist and through her journey, specialized in working with people with disabilities. Stacey founded an art program where all were welcome and she taught for 5 years. While making art made others happy and changed moods, Stacey decided to try something new. Stacey wanted to try a more direct and hands-on approach to healing and began researching the field of Massage Therapy. Stacey appreciates that most people leaving a session with her at least feeling more relaxed if not in less pain. Stacey looks forward to helping others heal and feel better. Area of Focus: Stacey specializes in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Thai, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, and Cupping. Stacey is passionate about helping others with chronic head, neck and back pain, as well as helping athletes before training and recover after training. Educational Background: Stacey completed her Masters of Art Therapy from Emporia State University and worked in the field of developmental disabilities for more than 10 years. Stacey completed her Diploma in Sports & Medical Massage at the Indiana Massage College in May 2019. Stacey became a Reiki Master in August 2019. Future Career Goals: Stacey plans to gain experience with deep tissue massage and chronic pain while working in the field of massage. Stacey also plans to pursue an education in canine massage. In five years, Stacey would like to be working in a practice that offers healing to humans and animals alike.
