Fall 2002 I started the 1st day of an amazing journey. Set off to explore anatomy physiology and pathology.   February 2003 I graduated from Carlson Collage of Massage Therapy in Anamosa, Iowa  March 2003 right out of collage starting as an employee of a chiropractor in Austin, Minnesota. August 2004 I started my own practice Heaven On Earth Therapeutic Massage renting from a hair salon. I thought then I would be able to really get into the "Spa" environment and little did I know.  I am currently in Osage ( Tuesday - Friday) in the perfect quiet hideaway next to Shear Images 119 B N. 5th Street and newly expanded home to Riceville ( Mondays) 802A Woodland Ave. Offering 1/2 Hour - 1 11/2 Hour time slots.  Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:00 pm I thrive to connect to the true demand and passion of bodywork and wellness.  I have found this new obsession with health & wellness. I am now understanding what it is like to truly connect Mind Body and Soul. I enjoy teaching and promoting wellness not only Mind and Soul but also what Body Wellness means as well.  Educating myself on Nutrigenomics and the empowerment of nutrition. Newly I have taken up Lymphatic Drainage and health.  My clientele have taught me so much more than anatomy, physiology and pathology.  The root issues, cause and effect, the true disabling ability of stress.  Learning to listen to what your body is trying to tell you, all your answers are right there. I am always earning to learn more.  I am a Reiki level 2 Practitioner & Healing Touch level 3 practitioner. I have studied Zero balancing,  Myofascial Release with Doug Lee , Neuromuscular Technique with Doug Nelson, Integrated Orthopedic Technique with James Walsaski, , Myokinesthetic System with Dr. Mike Uriate ,   Otho-Bionomy and    my newest bodywork Lymphatic Drainage.   For relaxation I still have the Carlson way, Swedish Massage background that I will never stop using. I also have training in Hot Stone Massage and Prenatal Massage as well.  The empowerment of stress is still amazing, and is one of my best clients.  Clientele express that they gain relief from many of their joint soft tissue issues to chronic pain to old holding patterns. We've even been able to release year old injuries! Besides all the bodywork,  I do have those that do just enjoy a great Massage to themselves and enjoy drifting off to a whole new world! I am a nut for the outdoors and enjoy gardening and yard work. I have been married to my amazing Husband Kenny since 2006 and have three amazing Children Caleb Isaac & Paizley,  that keep me on the go but grounded. My husband and I farm in Riceville with his family and enjoy working together. I am very active in our church.  I can not thank all of those that have keep my in business this long. Please be patient with me as my door will always be open to you! I truly enjoy every body that I meet.
