La Toshia Burrell has been actively practicing as Licensed Massage Therapist for 7 years. She has earned her master’s degree in Exercise Science at the University of Northern Iowa and bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management at Wartburg College. Post-graduate school, during her collegiate coaching years, she pursued another passion of hers by completing massage therapy certification at Moraine Valley Community College in Illinois followed by passing her boards for massage therapy. She recently became a certified myotherapist to add to her specialty bodywork training of deep tissue and sports massage therapy. She enjoys working with individuals from all backgrounds to provide healing. Her appreciation and knowledge of  human anatomy and physiology in addition to helping others is what inspired her to pursue massage therapy! Toshia enjoys spending time with her son Jordan along with friends and family.
