I’m Ruth McDonald, a dedicated massage therapist specializing in Manual
Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). My path to this field has been profoundly personal. Struggling with surgical healing, autoimmunity, and long COVID, I found limited
support for my unique needs. Supported by my husband and children, this journey led me to explore
and embrace MLD, discovering its powerful benefits for recovery and well-being.
Within a year of my own surgeries, I enrolled in massage therapy school
and after graduating, dove in headfirst to acquire knowledge and certifications
in MLD and other advanced modalities. I offer a wealth of experience and a
heartfelt approach. My practice is fueled by a passion for helping women
navigate their health challenges, combining professional expertise with deep
personal empathy. I understand firsthand the complexities of healing and am
committed to providing a nurturing, supportive environment for every client.
At The Gentle Peach, my goal is to empower women to take control of their
health through tailored, holistic therapy. Whether you're recovering from
surgery, managing autoimmune conditions, or seeking relief from chronic pain,
my services are designed to reduce swelling, improve fluid balance, and promote
overall relaxation.
Guided by empathy, integrity, and a client-centered approach, I ensure
that each session is personalized and attentive to your needs. My practice is
more than just a service—it's a partnership in your healing journey.
Looking forward, I aim to expand my offerings with workshops, resources,
and collaborations to further support women in their health journeys. My
mission is to create a haven of healing and hope, grounded in both personal
experience and professional expertise. At The Gentle Peach, we provide deeply
personalized care with a focus on post-surgical recovery, autoimmune support,
and overall wellness.
Join me in this compassionate journey to better health and well-being.
