Before being a massage therapist, I worked as a personal trainer for about six years which included group fitness instructor and gym management. The focus of my training was functional and corrective exercise, and earned certifications through NESTA (Certified Trainer), NCSF (Certified Trainer), NASM (Corrective Exercise Specialist), USA Weightlifting Coach, TRX, and Precision Nutrition, Level 1. The goal of my training sessions is to help clients build strength, endurance, and mobility through various exercises to improve their overall quality of life and injury prevention. As a massage therapist, I focus on the therapeutic side of massage therapy aligning with my personal training philosophy to improve quality of life and injury prevention through mobility and pain management. I accomplish this by doing an intake to see the client as an individual, asking questions relating to any complaints they have, stress level, sleep quality, movement issues, physical activity level and hobbies that are physically related (examples, extensive gardening, frequent hiking), and activities on the job. Before our first session, it helps me understand your concerns and goals by having a thorough MassageBook Health Intake completed. This will help minimize the initial intake to personalize your session to address your needs. Your massage session may include topical pain relief, cupping, RockBlades IASTM, and/or RockTape Kinesiology Taping. At the end of the treatment, we’ll do a brief outtake to see how you feel afterwards. We’ll also go over any post-treatment self-care suggestions and discuss a treatment plan depending on the initial intake and your goals. Hobbies & Interests: Spending time with wife and two cats, Dungeons & Dragons, Pokemon TCG, board games, video games, CrossFit
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
