When I was first introduced to Massage Therapy, I was pregnant with my first child and I was in pain.  My body was changing on top of the already chronic pain I was in from being in a retail job where I was on my feet all day on a concrete floor.   I saw a Therapist inside a Physical Therapy office close to me and enjoyed what she did.  She told me what she had found and that she had worked some things out. I was amazed.  In just a half hour, I stood up from the table and felt so much better, like I could move again.  Even then, it still wasn't until after I'd had my first child that I had another professional massage.  I found a therapist my sister had used before and went to see her.   So when I decided to go back to college, I went to the local Miller-Motte Technical College. I knew I wanted a new career, to work for myself, I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do.  I had been in a medical professional for almost five years and wanted to stay on that track.  The recruiter suggested Massage Therapy.  We toured the school and the next thing I knew, I was signed up to start the very next week.  Though I offer most of what was taught in school,  I like to focus on Athletic Modalities.  I offer relaxation, Therapeutic and Sports as well as Pregnancy Massages.  I have a passion for what I do and a passion for learning and am always trying to learn new things about Massage Therapy to be able to better help my clients.
