Carolyn has dedicated herself to living a life of holistic wellbeing since her breast cancer diagnosis in 2020. However, her transformative journey truly began in 2017 when she quit her corporate career of 25 years and went in search of her life’s purpose. She enrolled in a life coaching certification program, believing that her mind chatter had to be tamed to sustain any type of transformational thinking. This period of exploration led her down a spiritual path to Arizona and mediums who believed she had healing gifts. This intrigued her and fueled a passion to discover what this meant in her life. The answers slowly revealed themselves between 2017-2019 following the deaths of both her parents and her brother John's suicide. Through energy healing she unlocked deep-seated trauma linked to unaddressed fear, grief, and anger which contributed to back pain and headaches. It wasn’t until her stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis, however, that she discovered the connection to mind, body, and spirit in her own healing. She committed to changing her relationship with stress. She cleaned up her diet, and incorporated Reiki and meditation into her daily routine. She had unlocked the secret that would guide her path forward and offer a foundation for a future business.   Live in flow with life and continue to explore the connection of mind, body, and spirit on personal wellness. Carolyn continued to embrace the healing arts by becoming a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), Craniosacral Practitioner, and certified in Lymphatic Drainage (MLD-C). Ocean Sands Wellness was launched in 2022 with the intention of empowering individuals to awaken their inner balance through a healing experience by incorporating a blend of these modalities to support physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
