Tim retired from the corporate world after 31 years and decided to embark on a second career in massage therapy and bodywork. A long-time friend and massage therapist for nearly 25 years inspired him as therapist who was massaging clients into his early 90’s. As a person who has had 5 lower back surgeries, Tim is motivated to help clients relief their pain and discomfort, and potentially avoid significant surgical procedures. Helping clients improve their health is what keeps him energized about being a Licensed Massage Therapist. He enjoys helping others to ease discomfort by using a combination of modalities that best suits their needs: massage, stretching, deep pressure, and energy work. Tim holds a certification in Trager Therapy which he incorporates in the Restorative Integrative massage. As an LMT, Tim has found that communication is an art that never goes out of style, especially during a massage session. He believes the art of active listening is a key component that allows clients to feel safe and comfortable during a massage while providing feedback regarding the amount of pressure and locating the trigger point or area of emphasis. Tim enjoys functional training at the gym, reading murder mystery novels, get togethers with friends & family, and sitting outside in the mornings and evenings to soak up the beautiful energy St. Petersburg has to offer.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
