In Highschool, Jim gained interest and fascination in the Martial art of Aikido. And in 1985 he found an opportunity to train under a Japanese Aikido martial art instructor. And eventually became an Aikido instructor himself. During the Aikido training, he was introduced to a healing massage technique that helped fellow students and himself recover from the rigors of training or from an injury while training. The main benefit of which was helping them to return and continue working out. In 2011, Jim completed the massage program at Woods Hygienic Institute in Kissimmee, Florida and acquired a massage license later that same year. Since then, he has completed studies and certifications in several massage techniques. Of which the main modality is a standardized results driven massage known as Active Release Techniques. And after working for several chiropractic doctors, Jim has developed a therapeutic massage style to help with many soft tissue conditions ranging from migraines to plantar fasciitis. He enjoys helping clients help themselves to achieve the results that enable them to obtain more of what they want from their life.
