A Licensed Massage Therapist in New York since 2003 and now in Colorado since 2022, I offer seasoned, personalized Massage Therapy and Bodywork treatments. I favor an Integrative approach which may include many specific therapies, depending on where you are in the moment and upon your needs and history, whether you are in need of pain relief, stress blocking and redirection, sports specific recovery, injury prevention and treatment, corrective therapy, immune boosting, energy balance or just receiving the incredible benefits of safe, professional human touch. For 18 years I co-owned and practiced at the award-winning multi-therapist practice Balanced Bodywork and Massage of Lake Placid, founding it in 2003 and selling it in 2021. My background as a cyclist and endurance athlete focused my learning in that area, so I am very comfortable working with sports massage and soft tissue modalities. This has led to continuing roles within pro cycling as a team soigneur (massage therapist with additional support duties), USA Biathlon and USA Bobsled and Skeleton, and the US Olympic Committee in competition, most recently with the USOPC Team USA sports medicine clinic at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. My other experience working with discriminating clients at the Lake Placid Lodge and other high-end resorts means that I am also focused on how a massage feels, on the experience of receiving. My treatments blend these focuses, balancing therapies to achieve the best outcome while utilizing the healing power of relaxation and letting go. I am happy to work in homes, workspaces, in a clinic such as the Olympic Training Center, traveling anywhere, and working with with other professionals, teams and groups.
