Cherokee Hope is a Colorado native who grew up on the Great Plains. She completed nursing school in Kansas, and has practiced as an RN in hospital settings and health education for 10 years. She completed her massage training and graduated from Healing Arts institute in June 2016.
During her years as an acute care nurse, Cherokee began to feel the need to shift her focus to an independent, holistic aspect of health promotion. After experiencing some dramatic benefits of massage following a car accident, she decided this was the path for her. As someone who walks through painful experiences with clients in the hospital on a daily basis, she is passionate about helping them find a path to greater wellness. As an LMT, Cherokee focuses on athletic massage, clients with long-term pain, and injury recovery. She loves to improve quality of life for her clients!
Cherokee served in the US Peace Corps along with her husband, spending 2 years in Paraguay, South America. There she learned to speak Spanish, slow life down, and appreciate the little things. Now that they are back home, Cherokee and her husband are spending lots of time with family, included their many nieces and nephews. When she has free time, she loves to hike, take long bike rides, paint, and play the ukulele.
