Hello! My name is Lindsay and I'm the owner/Massage Therapist at Stardust Massage Therapy. I’m a California/Washington transplant (grew up in SoCal, but moved to WA in high school, then back here in 2018), so I have a mixture of Seattle and SoCal traits; I drink coffee and pretty much the first thing I do when visiting somewhere is find a good coffee shop, I also have a love-affair with avocados (been eating avocado toast LONG before it was mainstream). I went to massage school in the Seattle area in 2014 and am licensed in Washington and certified in California. As soon as California gets a massage licensure, I will be licensed here as well. I am passionate about massage and learning and am constantly taking classes online and in person when I can. (I have some exciting things I’ll be adding to my massage menu in the new year!) My massage style blends a bunch of different modalities depending on what your body needs, which is why I don’t differentiate between the standard relaxing Swedish-style and a therapeutic Deep Tissue variety. Some of the styles I use include: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Lomilomi, Balinese, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral, and Shiatsu. I’m also certified in Hot Stone and Prenatal Massage. Stardust Massage Therapy was started in June of 2021. It has been an exciting and sometimes terrifying journey starting my own massage practice. The safety net of being an employee whose only job is to show up and massage has been removed and at times it feels like a freefall through never ending tasks of marketing, answering calls/texts, and laundry. Seriously, so much laundry. I’m enjoying every moment, though. Stardust MT has let me spread my creative wings again, and I love that I can now say that I am an owner of a small business. Make or break, it’s all on me. Stardust also gives me the space to change things up to cater to you, my lovely clients, more freely. If you have any feedback, suggestions, requests, please let me know! Want different music during your massage? I can change that for you. Something not quite working for you during a massage, tell me and we can change it up. Have a suggestion for a service you had at another spa, that you would like me to incorporate? Let me know! As I said earlier, I love learning and if it’s within my scope of practice and something realistic, I will try to make it happen!
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
