NOW OPEN IN CONCORD, CALIFORNIA! Serving Concord, Clayton, and neighboring areas. I studied dance w hen I was first in college . As students we worked so hard, often too hard, with our bodies. Me and my dance buddies soothed the tension and soreness by helping each other and rubbing each other's sore calves and shoulders. With those simple acts of care I was learning how powerful and necessary healing touch was. I needed to learn more - which I did. I attained my massage therapy certification in Edmonton, Alberta Canada in 1992 and I felt like I had education and training that I could take with me anywhere. I combined my dance education and massage education and became a bodyworker/massage therapist. My learning has continued with ongoing training and studies in massage therapy, natural health, and movement. I love working with people who are in tune with themselves; who know that if you give too much output without refueling it'll eventually catch up to you, so you know better and you have a massage, for your health's sake. I also love working with someone having their very first massage. It's so important to me that your first massage be good experience so that you'll feel the body's innate healing activated and realize, just like I did when I was a student, how powerful and necessary and good massage therapy is for you. I also pursued special training as an Infant Massage educator. This is perhaps the most meaningful work there is in the whole wide world. I teach parents how and why to massage their babies. The effects on the families are far-reaching and promote wellness and love at the most basic level. In addition to being a massage therapist, I am an artist.
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
