Greetings and Salutations! My name is Ruth Renate Davidson. A keystone of my practice is nurturing the development of resiliency of the body, mind, and spirit; through kindness, compassion, and inclusivity, for the preservation, healing, and growing of love. So you understand more about me and my expertise, I would like to share my education and training. I have a bachelor’s degree in child and adolescent development and a master’s degree in education with the Critical Research Academy. These programs informed and solidified my strong beliefs that inclusivity matters. It also means I am comfortable working with children and teenagers and pregnant women. I received my massage education at De Anza College, and have been trained in the following techniques: neuromuscular therapy, basic lymph drainage therapy, myofascial release, table Shiatsu, trigger point, sports, and Swedish massage. I am also a Reiki Master and Teacher, and trained in Moto-ki (martial arts/earth based energy healing techniques), and energy sensing techniques. As a Tarot card reader, I use these energy skills in my readings. I believe in the union between modern medical advances and energy healing. I believe that therapies should be applied with presence, kindness, and sensitivity to both the nervous system and the person in front of me. As a massage therapist I have worked with people experiencing post-stroke symptoms, migraine, stress, body dysmorphia, body dysphoria, heartache, grief, and other discomforts. As an energy healer I have done the above as well as worked on expectant mothers, fetuses, babies, children, and adolescents. As a Tarot reader I have done the above and also helped people receive messages from the Divine and answer questions most salient to them. I often blend these modalities together when appropriate. For all my services what you are paying me for is my time. During that hour, or two, or three, I dedicate all of that time to you, and it is sacred to me. All things will be lawfully held in confidentiality. I have a no nudity policy, meaning, you just leave your underwear on. Ask me about package deals for combining services together! For all bodywork services please be sure to fill out the intake form, even if you are receiving energy healing. When doing energy work I need to be sure that I am working with any medications, supplements, or other treatments, not against them. For everything under meditation please be sure to at least fill out the basic information, and to sign the agreement at the end.
