I became massage therapist due to injury to my right shoulder in which I had lost full range of motion & strength. It had given me problems for whole year. During that time I had gone to the doctor and had x-rays taken. I was told to ice, take over the counter medicine to ease pain. Nothing I was told seem to really help. I remember receiving postcard in mail for free 15 minute chair massage at a massage school and so i went not knowing what to expect. The massage therapist performed Trigger Point Therapy on my problem shoulder and to my surprise the pain started to go away. Each time I received massage, the pain was less and my strength and range of motion got better. I immediately started to feel the positive effects of massage and it was the only thing that really helped, so my goal is to help others just as it has helped me. I attended Arizona School of Massage Therapy (ASMT), in Phoenix, AZ back in 2007, which is ACCET accredited school. C ompleted a Professional Massage
Therapy Program with total of 815.5 total hours of Eastern and Western bodywork
modalities, including 115.5 hours of bodywork internship. In December of 2007, I received Certification and became Professional Licensed Massage Therapist (License # MT-10582) for State of Arizona. I am Certified member of ABMP which is my malpractice massage insurance. Some of most common issues I have worked on are: TMJ, headaches, migraines, neck & shoulders pain, frozen shoulder, back pain, carpal tunnel, hip pain, sacrum, SI joint pain, sciatic, fused cervical or lumbar vertebrae, leg & foot pain. I specialize in relaxation and working out any muscular issues, tension, pain, stress, tightness, & injuries people may have. Sometimes treatment can include Ice/ heat especially if requested. Each session is customize and pressure can range from light, medium, or firm to deep. Stretching can be done to improve range of motion during session and to get better results.
