Alaskan born, I have lived here most of my life. I absolutely love being here in Alaska, as it has always felt like home. It was here that I went to Alaska Career College, going back into school in the pursuit of my dream job: Massage Therapy. I graduated in 2008 and received my professional licensing. This passion started with me, like many children, walking on my parents backs, rubbing shoulders, arms, and necks. It gave me a sense of accomplishment and I really liked the fact that, through touch, I could help people to actually feel better. How thrilled I was when I found out that I could make, not just a job, out of Massage, but an entire career based around it! This has not been an easy road by any means, but the fact remains that every day that I do massage, is never a bad day. I have helped to bring those who thought that pain was just their life now into a state of actually beginning to heal and feel better in their day to day lives. It leaves me with a sense of warm achievement. To this end, I focus my attentions on those in pain. Those who have chronic pain, either from an old injury or from chronic over-use, repetitive motions, surgery, headaches, migraines, back aches, and so much more. I want to help people figure out what their pain really stems from, get them on a plan, and help them get to a better place in their lives. For the past three years, I have finally devoted myself full time to my profession, and I intend to go on until I no longer can! I have received additional training in Myofascial Release, Reiki Energy Work, Orthopedic Massage, Lymphatic Facilitation, Craniosacral Techniques, and many others, of which I use a combination to help combat pain where I find it. I hope to see you on my table soon, let's take the journey together to end pain!
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
