Co-creating embodied wellness for the community
It is my mission to help all people feel better in their bodies, whether that's recovery from an injury, or holding compassionate space for people to receive care for their bodies and spirit, every body is welcome to receive care on my table.
For the last 5 years, I have been finding ways to create more inclusive spaces for people with marginalizing experiences to receive personalized care.
In my first year as a massage therapist, I designed and facilitated a training to the staff on gender inclusivity, and meeting the needs of clients who bind in particular with a "binding wellness massage offering".
In my second year as a massage therapist, I took the leap to full-time self-employment under the name Triangle Wellness Collective, so that I could offer a massage experience where I am able to offer a personalized healing environment to clients of any size, gender, or neurotype. I also started the Help the Helpers Program, where I grant and individual donation supported massage services to community organizers working towards trans liberation.
I have also been involved in the community in several other ways, such as through my own community organizing through my performance persona Simon Saize, serving as a helpline volunteer, Somatic Healing Coordinator, and STARLING Healer through St. Louis Queer+ Support Helpline.
