Hello! My name is Sarah Carr and I have spent the last 20+ years working with clients to develop an awareness of their bodies, recognize how and where they've disconnected from themselves, patterns of behavior that create imbalances in their bodies and supporting them through the process of developing a reconnection between the mind and body. I've cultivated a deep well of knowledge through a variety of trainings including:

  • Usui Reiki, Levels 1 & 2
  • Holy Fire Reiki, Levels 1 & 2
  • Body Breath Connection (a variation of Somatic-Respiratory Integration)
  • Stress and Trauma in the Body
  • Positional Release Techniques
  • Crystal Healing and Advanced Crystal Healing
  • Somatic Awareness

In addition to my quest to understand the mind/body connection, I began advanced training in a modality called Integrative Attachment Theory with the world-renowned practitioner, Thais Gibson, through the Personal Development School based out of Toronto, Canada. Thais has spent her career studying relationship dynamics, both to the self and with others. She took the information gleaned from the original studies of Attachment Theory and created her program of Integrative Attachment Theory to go deeper into the core wounds from childhood experiences and recognize the emotional, behavioral and communication patterns that result that re-emerge over time and continue to keep people feeling stuck. 

I am now combining the versatile skill set I've acquired over the years to merge all of these practices by bringing an awareness to the body and how one holds it/where stress is stored in order to calm the system and create a reconnection. This practice allows you to recognize the signs your body is giving of anxiety, depression, worry, panic, fear, etc. By coming back to your body, you will be able to begin to see the patterns that exist. In coaching sessions, you are able to share your experiences, and the stories created around the experiences, in order to recognize your own patterns and begin the process of empowered healing between the mind and body.
